Job Description

A climate controlled, CLEAN job shop in Dayton is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for a 1^st shift, direct hire position!  This is a great opportunity for a person learning CNC machining and wants to learn more! In this position, you will: 

• Setup and operate Okuma and Samsung CNC Lathes - set up experience a plus, not required!  You will be trained!
• Must be able to read blueprints 
• Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping
• Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
• Checks output for quality assurance by using micrometers and calipers
• Identifies need for and performs minor machine maintenance and minor repairs 

Hours are Monday – Friday, 48 hours a week (Overtime!) You may work an occasional Saturday, but that is rare. Pay is up to $20 an hour!  Great opportunity to grow your machining skills to the next level!
