Job Description

PDSI is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for a contract to direct opportunity for our client in Dayton, OH

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and installing process and facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Performs Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of equipment
  • Performs Electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment
  • Rebuilds process equipment
  • Performs Minor fabrication of machine parts
  • Supports PM Technician as required
  • Repairs facility equipment (plumbing, fans, etc.)
  • Rigs and install machinery
  • Adhere to quality standards and safety guidelines
  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices
  • Communicates effectively to convey information, and report issues or concerns to the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical skills, pneumatic and electric experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • Minor electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Plumbing installation and repair
  • Welding/Machining/Fabrication

Pay Range: $22 - $25/hr
