The role of maintenance planner/scheduler is to improve the maintenance program effectiveness and work force productivity by eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, materials, and equipment access.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to manage entire work order and preventative maintenance process (work order generation, tracking, completion, and reporting)
Develop detailed work plans for with necessary information to allow effective scheduling, assignment, and execution
Support inventory specialist regarding parts requirements (critical spares, min/max, etc.)
Manage work order backlog and track work order aging
Build and maintain equipment and plant history (library of files, drawings, catalogs, reports, and manuals
REQUIREMENTS
Requires high school diploma/GED. Associates or Apprenticeship preferred
Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience wiht 1 year maintenance planning.
Proficient use of CMMS, MS Excel (Pivot Tables), and MS Word
Knowledge of industrial systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and associated components: pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.
