Job Description

Design Engineer 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design and detailing of mixing products with emphasis on customer needs, quality, budget, safety and on-time delivery.

 Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Interpreting customer supplied drawings to define customer needs.
  • Performing calculations to ensure designs are of the highest quality and longest life.
  • Creating parts, assemblies and drawings using Solidworks 3D CAD software.
  • Creating part numbers and bills of material in Teamcenter product lifecycle management software.
  • Working with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are in line with factory capabilities and core competencies.
  • Providing engineering support to machinists and assemblers on the shop floor.
  • Executing engineering changes to legacy products. 

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proficiency using Solidworks 3D CAD software.
  • Experience with the selection and implementation of power transmission components in machine design. Experience designing rotating equipment a plus.
  • Familiarity with EPDM Product Data Management software.
  • A working knowledge of GD&T.
  • Experience creating part numbers and bills of material.

This is a direct hire position, with a targeted starting pay of up to $98K, based on experienc and interivew!
