Job Description

PDSI is recruiting for a VP of Engineering for a direct hire opportunity for our client in Miamisburg, OH

The Vice President of Engineering provides strategy and direction to the overall engineering activities to maintain current business and successfully achieve new business objectives for the plant as well as to lead the engineering staff in a unified direction to meet customer requirements and business objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead all engineering and quality staff activities.
  • Develop and drive plant-level engineering strategy and technical vision for all direct reports and other associates in the plant.
  • Lead all process and product launches and maintain proper levels of engineering support for existing processes.
  • Initiate, lead, and maintain technical solution driven continuous improvement projects and opportunities with evaluation of economics to address all business objectives.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, evaluation, and development of the engineering and quality department.

Qualifications Sought:

  • 4 years’ experience with managing a team
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience working with new product launches

 

Pay Range: $150k-$185k
