Job Description

Due to growth, we are seeking to add an experienced Welder/Fabricator to our shop here at Production Design Services!  In this position, you will:

  • Weld metal objects together using MIG and/or TIG.
  • Setup and operation of production equipment.
  • Check quality of parts when function complete.
  • Use of jigs, fixtures, dies, punches and clamps.
  • Fabrication of metal shapes or articles.
  • Repair broken or cracked metal objects.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience within a job shop environment
  • Excellent technical drawing reading skills
  • Applicants must be able to provide quality TIG and MIG welding of Stainless, Aluminum and Mild Steels to our Customer Drawing Specifications
  • Applicants must be able to perform layout and fit-up of component parts for the end result of the weld drawing
  • Must be able to fabricate weldments with the understanding of machining stock allowances
  • Seeking self starters with good communication skills, organized and methodical.
  • Ability to follow quality protocol and fill out applicable forms required
