Maintenance Technician 

2nd shift - 3:30 PM TO 12:00 AM

Hourly pay is up to $30, based on interview and experience

$1.25 shift diff!

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift in Dayton, OH. This role will require the ability to troubleshoot CNC machining equipment, perform building maintenance tasks, and minor electrical/carpentry/plumbing. 

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Repair, modify or overhaul all types of machines tools, special machines and production equipment as directed.
  • Plans and completes installation and service of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical equipment.
  • Capable of basic welding.
  • Makes factory building repairs and related equipment repairs as directed.
  • Works from blueprints, sketches, repair manuals and/or verbal instructions.
  • Works with a minimum of supervision and instruction.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on machines per set intervals.
  • Coordinate and communicate with 1st shift maintenance personnel.
  • Work with equipment vendors (onsite at our facility) on more complex repairs/jobs.
  • Works in a safe manner at all times and may instruct other employees in specific areas of safe use of special equipment. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years industrial experience in manufacturing facility maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and work form verbal instructions with special emphasis placed on welding symbol interpretations.
  • Possess working knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical circuitry, with emphasis on 3 phase 440/220 volt power systems.
  • Must be able to pass basic maintenance test including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical competencies.
