Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will focus heavily on launching new products into the manufacturing environment. Additional areas of focus will include but are not limited to, setup reduction, operator/assembly training, statistical process control, tool design, or selection, and performance metrics. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key stakeholder in new product roll-out to the manufacturing floor.
  • Create production assembly cells/areas that maximize performance and output while increasing safety and operator satisfaction.
  • Set up robust assembly processes for new products being developed.
  • Meet customer expectation requirements for quality and testing.
  • Design and build manufacturing tooling, fixtures, test stands, etc.
  • Provide feedback to the design team to improve processing time and reduce quality issues.
  • Owner of root cause and investigations pertaining to production-related finished goods, process, and equipment issues.
  • Transition products from engineering to manufacturing effectively. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience launching products to production environments (preferably durable goods OR minimum of 10 years of recent and relevant experience.
  • Hands-on and collaborative work style.
  • Software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office productivity tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and Solidworks.
  • Experience with GD&T preferred Software: Minitab, JMP Lean or Kaizen experience/mentality.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on quality, execution, and follow-through.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, utilizing the latest technologies and methods.
  • Results-driven with a focus on quality and delivery.
