Quality Assurance Manager

Direct hire – up to 100K!



The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing the entire Quality Management System. They will manage and develop a team of up to ten inspectors, technicians, and engineers across two locations to achieve corporate goals. Must be a people person with the ability to train and motivate team towards quality improvement. Travel is only 10%!

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a comparable field of study preferred, but not required
  • Works well with others, great team player, and handles conflict/change with an open mind
  • Ability to bring forward continuous improvement ideas and implement them where applicable
  • Minimum of 3+ years of industrial quality management experience required
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office tools
  • Prior experience with internal and external auditing
  • Familiarity with standard quality processes: PPAP, FAI, corrective action, root cause analysis
  • Experience with the use of electrical and mechanical lab equipment, such as multi-meters, power supplies, gauges, and other test equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble and analyze returned products (motors, bearings, etc.)
  • Familiarity with print reading
  • Comfortable with basic math skills
