Job Description

PDSI is recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a contract opportunity for our client in Cincinnati, OH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret test results, write reports, and effectively communicate with plant personnel and customers.
  • Support the Operations team on trouble-shooting efforts on internal and customer concerns.
  • Interface with other Engineering personnel to establish process controls and product test requirements.
  • Monitor product performance.
  • Lead failure analysis and corrective action efforts.
  • Maintain appropriate quality records, which include, but are not limited to, certifications and treat inspection records.
  • Participate in training and coaching of inspection personnel in the technical performance of their duties.
  • 4S Activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in engineering or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years experience as a QA engineer in a TS16949/QS9000 registered manufacturing operation.
  • Exposure to Automotive OEM Supplier quality practices and procedures
  • General knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
  • Experience working in the automotive industry preferred, but not required.
  • Prior work experience with automotive PPAP process and customer interface is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, TS16949 will be desired.
  • Experience in using Statistical Process Controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with limited direction and supervision, and function in a team-oriented environment.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000
