Responsible for troubleshooting, installation, repair and preventative maintenance tasks on metal stamping presses, robotic welders & resistance welders.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 5 years of Metal Stamping Press repair. (will take without stamping experience, but pay will be less).
Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components.
Ability to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of equipment to include stamping press, PLC's, relay logic, servo motors and different types of sensors and switches.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to troubleshoot power transmission components, bearings, belts, cams, etc.
Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics with ability to read and understand schematics and do basic calculations to specific components.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Ability to navigate CMMS, create & complete W.O.'s.
Must be able to work in a high pace, demanding work environment.
Required Education and Skills
Technical school grad or equivalent experience.
A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
Must have good mechanical skills.
Ability to read complex prints.
Good math skills.
Skilled in the use of basic measuring tools with ability to use more advanced measurement tools.
Must be able to work every other weekend
