Plan and direct activity concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products
Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical
Develop sampling procedures
Design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data
Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities
Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess cost
Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability
Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities
Perform quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, research and development, and administrative application
Manage Quality Assurance during the absence of the Quality Manager
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Utilize and abide by all applicable Quality Standards and OSHA requirements and safety
procedures
Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
Perform all required checks and complete documentation
Perform general housekeeping functions
Perform all other work assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent Communication and writing Skills
Managing processes, Work Flow, and Process Improvement Rev. 1.0
Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Excellent eye sight (with glasses)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years related experience or training or combination of both
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Engineering Degree Preferred
Works effectively in a team environment & respectful of others
Demonstrates a high degree of safety awareness & practice
Focus on job duties resulting in above satisfactory Production
Maintain a high level of quality through attention to detail
Show initiative to learn and improve skill set
