Job Description

PDSI is recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a direct hire opportunity for our client in Lebanon, OH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating new product launches and repurposing of existing equipment on assigned machine lines
  • Overseeing design changes in tooling, fixtures and gages
  • Leading Kaizen and other improvement activities
  • Influencing Quality & Production to realize cost reductions through greater efficiencies
  • Managing line efficiencies with a focus on safety and ergonomics
  • Working with outside vendors to ensure smooth project integration with minimal impact to current production
  • The ability and desire to occasionally travel internationally for projects

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree with focus in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment
  • Great project and time management skills
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD design software
  • Systematic troubleshooting abilities/root cause analysis
  • Working knowledge of GD&T principles
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Relevant experience in a CNC machining preferred

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 Annually
