Job Description

The position of Engineering Technician plays a key role in developing new products, updating product
designs, BOM’s, product instructions, testing and validation, and supporting production. This position will
also support RMA which directly supports our customers. This individual should have excellent planning
and organizational skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Supports development of new products and product improvements on existing products as established
and prioritized.
• Support and manage projects including timelines, bill of material, drawings, sources, cost, testing and
weaknesses.
• Supports development of product specifications, work instructions and all associated project
documentation.
• Perform life testing on existing products.
• Support and perform required product certification and or Quality evaluations at or in excess of the
required intervals.
• Evaluate customer returns and or in-house defects as required.
• Identify improvement opportunities regarding products or procedures.
• Support trade shows
• Support production, customer support technicians and customers as needed.
• Prepares reports as required.
• Implements and enforces company policies, established procedures to ensure compliance with
company standards.
• Other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications and Required Skills:
• Clear understanding that the CUSTOMER IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY and why.
• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support.
• Previous CAD experience desired.
• Ability to manage a project and the resources needed to complete the project.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and find solutions.
• Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems. Ability to manage
a variety of activities simultaneously.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in written or diagram form and deal
with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Requires math skills, the ability to problem solve on a daily basis, and coordinate numerous
activities at the same time. Able to read, write, spell and orally communicate clearly in English
