Job Description

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of surface mount components required. This includes the ability to identify caps, IC’s capacitors, diodes, resistors, etc.
Must be able to read a parts list, gather components and appropriately assemble the parts to the product by accurately interpreting the drawing.
Good mechanical aptitude skills – ability to pass the Bennett Mechanical Test with the minimum score of 35/68 required.
Above average computer skills needed in order to be able to process assemblies thru the SMT Line.
Working knowledge of IPC-610-A and a J-STD-001 certification, which may obtained will be required.
Be able to conduct daily work operations with minimal supervision.
Be able to prioritize daily work operations by working with the schedules and planning resources.
Be able to effectively communicate with planning personnel, supervision and other department associates.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED required.
At least three years of experience with Juki 3010L/3020L or comparable surface mount machine required.
Previous lead/supervisor experience desired.
Must be able to identify electronic components.
Must have at least one year of hands on automated electronic assembly experience.
Must have intermediate level PC skills.
Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
