Job Description

Job Title: Machine Builder – Mechanical/Electrical Build

*ALL SKLLL LEVELS*

 Full-Time Job Summary:

 The Machine Builder is responsible for assembling, installing, and testing mechanical/electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in industrial production and capitol machine builds. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of mechanical/electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading in full cycle builds.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install various types of industrial machinery/electrical equipment according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Perform functional tests on assembled machinery to ensure proper operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, modifications, and testing results. Update technical manuals as necessary.
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to improve machinery design and functionality.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

 Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

 Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly or machine building.

 Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
