Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Vertical Mill Machinist for 1^st shift direct hire! In this position you will set up and operate various types of machine tools with minimum supervision. This is in a job shop environment! 

Key Accountabilities:

• Primary Machining responsibilities will be the set up and operation of a Leadwell CNC Vertical Mill with Fanuc controller.
• Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Read and follow work order instructions.
• Perform machine setup without supervision.
• Operate machine to accurately produce parts within tolerances with little or no supervision.
• Change tooling without assistance.
• Inspect machined parts.
• Create new production procedures as requested.
• Perform daily maintenance of equipment.
• Perform basic shop floor packing.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform special duties as assigned.

 Your Profile

• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and tape measurer
• Complete understanding of all hand measuring devices
• Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals and metric to English
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Compensation is commensurate with experience to include overtime over 40 hours a week and benefits such as holiday and vacation pay, excellent medical and dental insurance, along with 401k and profit sharing.
